We also have the 9300-acre Cummins Creek Wilderness Area and the 7400-acre Rock Creek Wilderness Area; as well as the Ten Mile and Pine Tree Bird Sanctuaries. These areas are designated to protect nesting, migrating and breeding of the Marbled Murrelet.

Our area is unmatched anywhere along the Oregon Coast with numerous implied protections inherent from established State and Federal Parks; as well as large blocks of acreage set aside for wilderness protection.
